About Me

Welcome to my web site! I am Mrs. Annette Duffy and starting my 23rd year teaching at Hill City Middle School. Growing up in the Hill City area, developed my love for nature and a strong appreciation for the Black Hills. I live in the Hill City area, married and have five grown children, and 12 grandchildren.  I enjoy reading, hiking, and spending time with my family.
I believe it is important as a teacher to develop respectful, honest relationships with students. Developing trust and communication between students and teachers creates a safe environment for learning.  In my classes, students will take an active role in their education, developing confidence and skills to communicate with each other, and with an extended real life audience.
